Here at K-9 Performance Plus, Inc. our Canine Camp
is a full day of education and fun for your dog.
Put your worries and guilt aside because at canine camp we have professional trainers work with your dog throughout the day. Our trainers teach basic obedience and socialize your dog under a fully controlled environment so your dog is never in a situation where harm can come to him.
The training during canine camp focuses on basic manners in addition to basic obedience. Correcting behaviors such as jumping, mouthing, uncontrolled barking, and more are addressed. The basic obedience commands are sit, stay, down, heel, come when called (recall), and also the "place" command. Your dog will enjoy a full day of learning while getting some free time for play and supervised socialization.
Supervised socialization during the day is important so that you can have a confident and well-mannered dog in other circumstances outside the walls of our facility. It is our goal to ensure that your dog will socialize in a manner that is safe under your control. At the typical doggie day care, unlimited socialization results in dogs that learn they can play with any dog anytime with or without your retaining control. K-9 Performance Plus, Inc. instructors train your dog to both socialize with other dogs while still being under control of the handler or owner.
When you pick up your well-mannered, well-trained dog at the end of the day, we spend approximately 15 minutes reviewing the training with you and your dog so you can continue to practice at home and outside the walls of our facility. This approach ensures that you understand how to work with your dog so that the dog remains under control in common, everyday circumstances.
We take only 10 dogs a day so that your dog will get a tremendous amount of time throughout the day working with our trainers.
Drop off times are
Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Pick up times are from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
The cost for canine camp is $30/day.
Weekly and multi-dog rates are available upon request.
